Background and Experience

Tom has been a Licensed Professional Counselor for over 20 years, practicing in both Missouri and New Mexico. He has lived in New Mexico for the past several years but is excited to return to his home city of St. Louis soon. Tom sees clients ages 10+ in individual, couple, family, or group settings. He works to create an environment for clients to be heard, understood, and challenged to meet their therapeutic goals. He combines traditional methodologies with current evidence based strategies to offer a personalized approach to each client.

As well as counseling, Tom has spent much of his adult life serving in ministry roles, including Senior and Associate pastor. While Tom is comfortable counseling many types of situations (see below), his personal 30 years experience helps him deeply understand the triumphs and tolls the life of ministry can take on a person and their family.

When Tom isn’t working, he enjoys being with his wife and children. Some of his favorite things include the outdoors, board games, all things sports, and anything artsy.
