Robyn Pitts

Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor

Background and Experience

Robyn began her career with 15 years in higher education before spending 6 years supporting students and families in an elementary school setting. She is now a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor who is passionate about working with children, teens, and adults. She takes a person-centered approach, creating a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts and emotions. She also incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and shift unhelpful thinking patterns, develop healthy coping skills, and build confidence.

When working with children, Robyn recognizes the power of play as a natural language and essential tool for expression and healing. She uses play-based techniques to help younger clients process emotions, build emotional awareness, and develop problem-solving skills in a developmentally appropriate way. Whether working with a child struggling with big emotions, a teen facing anxiety or self-esteem issues, or an adult experiencing stress, life transitions, or relationship challenges, Robyn is committed to helping clients build resilience, gain insight, and create meaningful change in their lives.

Special Interests and Services

When she’s not counseling, Robyn enjoys spending quality time with her husband and kids, playing with their pets, and being with her family and friends.  She loves reading a good book, relaxing with a favorite TV show, and staying active through regular exercise.  Robyn is also involved in serving at her church and finds joy in building community and supporting others both professionally and personally.
