Background and Experience
Gina has worked in Community Mental Health and school-based settings for over five years, providing support to children and their families primarily through the use of Play Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) strategies. She has also served in individual crisis support, community crisis debriefings, parent support, and educator training. Before working in areas of behavioral health, Gina stayed home with her three children and also spent time as an elementary and early childhood educator. Gina has extensive training in Play Therapy strategies and is in the final stages of obtaining her Registered Play Therapist (RPT) credential.
Special Interests and Services
Gina is especially equipped to support children ages 4-18 as well as their families. She is also able to support young women transitioning into adulthood. Primary strategies include Play Therapy, CBT, or Client/Child-Centered work.
